The IMA+ seeks to be a national and international reference in the development of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, providing technical and economical  to the industry feasible.

The Program will develop advanced manufacturing technology solutions along with promoting national and international scaling and commercialization strategies, including the strengthening of local suppliers, the provision of new services, the production of components and / or the integration of solutions.

Among the activities that the Program will develop are:

Setting up a technological consortium that promotes an associative dynamic between companies, technology centers and national and international universities.

Develop a technology transfer strategy that ensures scaling and innovation, by capturing the maximum possible benefit for Chile.

Establish and executing a portfolio of applied research projects that will close scientific / technological knowledge gaps and addresses the technological challenges of the manufacturing sector.

Develop technological solutions associated with advanced manufacturing.

Generate a dissemination strategy that contributes to a better understanding of the opportunities offered by the advanced manufacturing and its acceptance among the various stakeholders and main groups of interest.

Form human capital specialized in advanced manufacturing in universities and companies.
